Photos Look Different Depending On Monitor

Many of my photos look correctly exposed on my home laptop, but look underexposed on my LCD monitors at work. That's pretty annoying, because I don't know which monitor displays the photo "correctly". I probably shouldn't worry too much about it because everyone sets up their monitors differently. All my photos are currently only viewable online. I need to start printing some of my photos to see what they look like on paper. I bet not only is the exposure off, but the colors too, since none of my monitors have been properly calibrated. More research is needed.
