It's been too long since my last blog and much has changed. The day after my first shopping spree, I gave in and ordered the Nikon D300, Nikkor 35mm f/2 lens, and pretty much everything I needed to get started. The AlienBees remotes were backordered for 3 weeks! My wallet may be weeping, but I am very happy. I've taken a bunch of pictures and will post them shortly. For now, I'd like to humbly submit my first "presentable" photo from my new toy. It was taken at sunset from the Berkeley Marina.

Bought a Camera!
