More Wannabe Platon Photos

Platon is one of my favorite portrait photographers. I've tried to copy him in the past. A few weeks ago, my buddy Brian and I were taking turns photographing each other (our siblings weren't available). We experimented with all kind of setups, so I wanted to try to take some Platonesque portraits too. I got up close in order to emphasize his hands, which is a common theme of Platon's. My attempt is hardly worthy of the Platon name, but I learned a lot. I should have added fill light to eliminate Brian's raccoon eyes, either through another flash or a reflector.
